The National Veterans Tournament returns for NVT 2026, running five days in Tucson, Arizona, from September 3 to September 7. Tournament play and daytime programming are based at Kino Sports Complex, with evening events at venues across the city.

NVT has been running since 2015 under the banner One Nation, One Family, One Game. The 2026 edition is an all-inclusive program, so alongside the football there is a social event every single night, each at a different venue.

Thursday, September 3: Black Tie

7 PM to 10 PM. Strictly by invitation. Venue not yet announced.

A corporate reception for NVT’s sponsors, partners, heads of committee, presidents and their spouses. The one closed event of the week.

Friday, September 4: NVT Welcome Party

DaKrown Afro-Caribbean Kitchen, 5305 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85712. Free entry, no gate fee.

The night everyone arrives. Teams, families, and supporters who have travelled in meet for the first time over Afro-Caribbean food and drinks on Tucson’s east side. Open to all.

Saturday, September 5: All White Party

Zona 520, 3672 S 16th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. 7 PM to 3 AM. Dress code: all white.

The centrepiece of the week. Eight hours of music headlined by Prince Ndedi Eyango, the Cameroonian makossa star, with special guest artist Fadil Le Sorcier and MC JB hosting.

Admission is $100 single or $175 couple, each including a drink ticket.

Sunday, September 6: Award Gala

Salon México, 106 W Drachman St, Tucson, AZ 85705. 7 PM to 2 AM.

The tournament hands out its silverware. Seven hours at an event hall just north of downtown, covering trophies and recognition for players and teams, followed by a full evening after the presentations.

Monday, September 7: Farewell BBQ

Lincoln Regional Park, Tucson. 8 AM to 7 PM.

The week closes outdoors and all day. Eleven hours in the park, food off the grill, and the last gathering before everyone heads home.

Friday to Sunday, September 4 to 6: Vendor Village

Kino Sports Complex. Friday 8 AM to 9 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM, Sunday 8 AM to 9 PM.

Three days of daytime programming running alongside the matches, with an open mic contest, karaoke, traditional dances, games, live performances, music, food and drinks.
