The National Veterans Tournament 2026 ran at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson from 3 to 7 September. Below is the complete match schedule as issued by the organisers: the group stage across Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, then the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. Each group played on its own field, and every fixture is listed with its match number, kick-off time and field.
- The group stage was scheduled across Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026 at Kino Sports Complex, 2500 E Ajo Way, Tucson.
- Ten of the eleven groups held four clubs and six matches each. Group G held five clubs and eight matches.
- Friday kick-offs ran at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm for every group except G, which played at 4:45 pm and 8:00 pm.
- Saturday group matches were early, at 8:30 am and10:00 amm, clearing the fields before the round of 16 at 4:30 pmpm.
- All eight round of 16 ties kicked off at the same time, 4:30 pm on Saturday, one on each of Fields 1 to 8.
- The final was set for 6:30 pm on Sunday 6 September in the Main Stadium, as match 81.
How to read this schedule
Each group was assigned one field for the whole group stage, and the group letter maps straight onto the field number. Group A played on Field 1, Group B on Field 2, and so on down to Group K on Field 11.
Match numbers are tournament-wide, not per group. Match 1 and match 12 both sit in Group A because the organisers numbered every 9:30 amkick-offf first, then every 11:00 am kick-off, and so on across all eleven fields. That is why the numbers in each table jump.
Four Friday time blocks carried almost the whole group stage:9:30 amm, 11:00 am, 5:00 pm and6:30 pmm. The long midday gap is the heat. Tucson in early September still runs hot, and no group was scheduled between late morning and late afternoon.
Group G ran on its own clock. Its evening kick-offs were 4:45 pm and 8:00 pm rather than5:00 pmm an6:30 pmpm, and two of its matches, 40 and 84, moved to Field 12. Anyone reading across from another group’s timings would have arrived at the wrong pitch at the wrong hour.
Saturday worked differently again. Group matches were pushed into two early slots,s 8:30 amm0am10:00 am:00am so the fields could be turned over for the round of 16 that afternoon.
